The "personal brand" and NFL stuff in recruiting

I get the fact that some of these "worthy" recruits are worth serious efforts to attract to UM. We need elite talent to beat OSU. However, by us bending backwards to sell them on things like personal brand, NFL development, and lavishing attention on their parents makes me wonder if this doesn't attract more talent that will contribute to the entitlement problem that seems to have peaked the last two years. I've been impressed by the level of recruits JH has brought in the last few years but it seems like that may have come at the cost of admitting some serious head-cases (and their parents). So, if we end up losing on some recruits that didn't feel enough "love" (even if they are talented), it might end up serving us better in the long run. Thoughts?
