If UM win tomorrow, Illinois has no real claim. Michigan would have had to lose two of the other three for Illinois to have won a share.
But if we lose? I think it’s easy for the league to declare Illinois co-champ. In fact, I expect it. The B1G has never had an issue with co-champions so I don’t know why they’ll bend over backwards to avoid it here. And let’s be honest—the fact that Illinois beat Michigan is a huge factor here.
