UM ended up with Gray, Green St. Juste, Faustin to name a few. Obviously, guys that tall generally lack the quickness to play the position which is why there is an enormous void. The other thing
is that it appeared that the UM staff was somewhat slow (lazy?) on the recruiting trail. Recruits had already heard from other programs for a long time. These last two cycles, it appears that UM
is really getting after prospects much earlier, and I think it is fair to say that the current freshmen class (and this current class) are two really high end ones (if this class can finish off like we hope).
The one thing though that still baffles me is the approach to recruiting d tackles. I have no idea what their plan is for that position.
