The only reason we bring Frey on is because Jim understands Drevno is falling short with the o-line (recruiting, development, execution). Jim is not a fool - he gets it. We have been unlucky on the OL because of the Newsome injury (we lost at least 2 years because of that, not 1), and we have a completely depleted 4th and 5th year o-line class and are totally reliant on first or second year guys outside of Cole. It doesn't help that we missed out on guys like Becton, Wilson, Henderson, etc. But Jim gets it. I think Drevno is gone end of this year. Question is whether we bring on a new o-coordinator or just promote Pep. I have concerns about Pep based on what I've seen so far - he's evidently expecting our 1st year receivers to run NFL routes while asking our very average QBs to thread needles. Will be really interesting to see how this plays out
