Is quite the contrast, isn’t it? The other day on ESPN Jeff Saturday and Marcus spears essentially concluded this whole thing was no big deal. Everyone is making an effort to steal signs, and even with signs there’s still so much more to the game. And they also harped on the ncaa not allowing helmet technology - want to eliminate this? Allow helmet technology. The majority of former players (excluding osu and msu for obvious reasons) seem to align with this.

Then you have the media. The sum of the media takes is that this is bordering on a SMU situation. Horrifying cheating scandal, etc. People opining from all over the place, outlets like espn obsessing about this, and even complete hacks like Mike freaking Farrell’s site (wait - he has his own site? Lol) taking huge swings at Michigan.

I’ve never in my lifetime seen such a wide gap in perception (media) vs reality. This is absolutely NOT a big deal. But my word is the media doing everything they can to make it one.

You have programs like Tennessee, Lsu, Kansas etc etc who’ve been caught with serious violations, and what have they faced?

And the osu fanbase…talk about little brother. Yikes. What a soft and embarrassing group. Can not wait until November.
