This is why we need a legit top tier team in the West. To make sure these pretenders don't make it to premier bowl games only to get their doors blown off by the 2nd quarter.
Honestly, they did not make it to the 5 minute mark of the first quarter before you could put a fork in them. That is a pathetic showing for a second-place team.
This is also why MSU can't be allowed into the playoffs again. Did you see that shit last night?
Stanford could have won 75-0 if it had wanted today. It was brutal and BORING to watch. All the games sucked to watch. Worst New Years day bowls from a competitive standpoint.....EVER.

Yeah I saw it, I don't think the playoff selection committee will make that mistake again. Like you said it took divine intervention for MSU to get there in the first place. Alabama had superior talent all over the place and a well coached team. MSU is well coached but lacks the genetics of Alabama players.
