Until this morning I had a 1940 Michigan team autographed football, including signatures of the AD (Yost), the HC (Crisler), The Assistant coaches, including Bennie Oosterbaan, the Heisman Trophy winner (Tom Harmon), The Ox Albert Wistert, and the rest of the Michigan team. It was given by the team to thank the owner of the Michigan Theatre for some passes to the movies nearly 80 years ago. I protested and said that this ball could not possibly be relevant evidence and it was not linked to any crime. The FBI took it anyway--saying that they are taking no chances given recent hits to their reputation. Hah!
