For the first time in 10 years, I think it's safe to say Michigan State has to try...to match Michigan physically.
They go into this matchup without an edge they have enjoyed in the past, an edge that in some previous tilts that was both large and obvious.
No 5'8 WRs to hammer. No bulliable Michigan OL.
MSU will try to out-physical M, no doubt, but Michigan's roster is built to play the game that way and meet it square on.
Beyond trying to deal with a larger and tougher Michigan than they have seen, MSU does not have the depth to sustain the effort.
