My family and brothers family flew into Denver and took the trek out to Grand Junction for a wedding and the sights are unreal.
We were able to see buffalo, mountain goats, did some shopping and dinner in Vail, and may hit Moab. While we were at this dinosaur exhibit for the kids, we didn't realize we were near the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Wow, that was something else to see, too.
For those of you that live in Colorado....wow, I'm jealous. I'd love to come out here and do some backpacking one day.
Anything else near Grand Junction/Fruita you recommend? The house we are renting has an amazing view of the Colorado National Monument Park, so I think we are checking that out.
