It's the new reality, and it seems to me like if Beilein was frustrated with dirty recruiting and also having to "re-recruit" his own players who were listening to the wrong people and leaving too early, etc--then he would REALLY be frustrated with the current situation. Re-recruiting players, scouring the Portal, significant roster turnover from year to year, etc.
Juwan, on the other hand, doesn't really know anything else. He's entered college coaching in this very climate, and certainly proved last year that he was able to find key pieces in the Portal and get them to buy into the culture and the team. And from what everybody is saying, his players love him and he's instilling a culture here that players will want to be a part of (recruits, transfers) and will want to stay a part of (current players).
So--it's just another reason that Juwan is the perfect coach to have right now.
