The blatant hypocrisy of the SEC and ACC will doom any future camps ban

I just don't see how the other conferences could go along with a camp ban in the future with the SEC and ACC now saying they think the camps are fine. Because that's exactly what they're saying by changing their conference rules and immediately going on satellite camp tours.

The hypocrisy is amazing.

Well, no shit. Sankey going on record and saying how horrible sat camps are for the student athlete, and then going on to say he will reinstate them immediately makes him look like an f up of Biblical proportions.

Meanwhile, Harbaugh looks like a damn rock star that just cured cancer in all this.

Yeah, I mean I get that the SEC is going to be hypocritical, but why did they have to announce it from the mountain top? Sankey is just dumb, I guess.

The SEC is what it is. Look at old Miss and what has been brought out in this year's draft. Any thing goes in this league and I don't think it's just the rebels.

Give me a break. Do I need to bring up Ohio State, Penn State, USC, and countless other programs across the country. Stop with the high and mighty nonsense.

If schools keep the camps at a reasonable number they will continue. If there is a proliferation I see the committee placing some sort of restriction. It might be the number in which a staff might participate. They also might do a limitation on camps by the numbers and the distance they can go. e.g. every time you go to a camp you are required to be closer to home than before or mileage limit on how far from campus you may go.

Now that you have defended the great SEC what about the assistant from Alabama who just quit because of his recruiting practices? Maybe that's alright he only did it for six years ! I agree with you about Ohio State they got off way to easy and are still recruiting at a high level and if you are a star you can do no wrong. Urban treats these players just like he ran the Flordia program.

I do believe there should be a number limit on how many camps one school can do. Otherwise teams will go crazy and there will be a ban.
