This is all based on observations from a distance, but I really get the sense that our players are taking this game extremely seriously, and maybe more importantly, they very clearly genuinely do not like the players in green.
We've heard a lot of talk about "matching MSU's intensity" in the past as a major failure for us in this rivalry. I fully expect us to come out and match their intensity. Confident that our preparation and our gameday intensity will not be an issue.
I think we roll Saturday. I have watched every one of Sparty's games this year and we are easily the better team. And yes I realize thats a bold statement given this rivalry's history but this team is starting to prove they are something special and a special team goes in and puts its stamp on the rivalry.
