Good play calling on the last drive where UM is 2nd and 20 in IU territory and they didn't panic. They ran Houma and got into 3rd and 13 yards since they knew in theory they wanted at least a fg attempt but more importantly where in 4 down territory.

How many yards does Howard have right now. He ran for 170 and change against Iowa? I need to look up this guy. He is good...going to have 150 today.

Big fg...minimizes the td for a net 4 pt gain. Up by 8. All I know is IU is going to play to win and go for plenty of 4th downs

Basically Michigan needs points on every single drive moving forward. I expect IU will score another 17 points or more so Michigan needs to keep their foot on the gas pedal.
BTW, I hope Bolden is a senior and not coming back next year. He has been absolutely terrible this season. Really really terrible. Ruddock looks better but still average - he still takes way too long to get rid of the ball. We clearly can not run against IU so we should just let Ruddock rip them to shreds. Go Blue!

This might be a long 2nd half!!! Our ST has now had a meltdown in 3 straight games!!! After playing solid all season they lost the game to MSU, gave up tons of yards and a TD last week and once again this week! This team needs to learn to tackle.
Tackling is atrocious. Defense looks like "26 seconds" Mattison is running things again.

Although Howard is dang good. Like 1st team BT rb good. Like 3rd team all American running back good.
Howard is good. Founette is really good, too. Alabama employed this crazy strategy called "tackling" against him.
Hear you. Feel you. I did mention about a month or so ago that this is a good UM defense...very good but I think we all realize it's not elite. Missing Glasgow. Nice to hold them to a fg.
Now...the weak link in this defense is the linebackers and I think teams have figured that out. Not particulary great in coverage and some missed assignments.
IU is a good offense so give them credit. Just look at the statistics from Howard...he is legit. A top 4-5 round NFL pick.

UM is really missing a playmaker at rb. I think we are going to see Peppers make an appearance shortly.
