Have always loved this place and if I’ve lasted this long I’m probably not going anywhere.
But setting aside game day filth - what I’ve read today here on whole is about as bad as I’ve ever seen this place.
Appreciate one of the Forts seasoned wise men strolling out of the forest to address the natives. It matters.
Perspective being discarded in favor of pillow punching at the expense of one of our own is brutal.
I think I have more desire for Jim to win big to shove it in the face of our quick-to-bury-ourown fan base than I have for desire to stick to our rivals.
And that’s a first.
I get preferring we move on but the need to treat Wardes decision and Jim’s tenure as some type of embarrassment to Michigan is in and of itself an embarrassment. Looking at Jim’s career and definitively concluding his slide will continue and that a flavor of the moment coach has a higher chance of success - especially given our past - is not rational analysis. We re in a tough spot - our AD, one of our own, seems to be choosing to go with the aging home fed thoroughbred that hasn’t run well of late.
Tough call but well worth getting behind.
