Terrible call. PSU d.back obvious pass interference...

Maybe you didn't see the illegal hands to the face on that exact same play, or the multiple holding penalties not called on OSU all game. As you all like to point out to BWI, whining over officiating is a joke - and you're right, it is.
What bothered me about that play is there are so many PI calls that are just crap jostling and whatnot but that was the epitome of pass interference. That's why pass interference exists. The dude had one arm taken from him. It was OSU so I won't lose any sleep over it but it's hard to understand why the flag wasn't thrown. The ball bouncing off the receivers face mask is usually a good indication he was interfered with
It is funny how people with a biased opinion in a game see it different than an unbiased one. I agree it should have been a penalty after I got to watch the replay and in slow motion. But not everyone gets to see the play several times and in slow motion.
I'm not saying it wasn't PI. It obviously was. Just like it was obviously illegal hands to the face by the OSU O-lineman on the very same play.. Watch the play again.. Neither were called.
The officiating was bad both ways in that game. The difference in that game was PSU was more physical than OSU. They deserved to win the game with the way they played.
Calls get missed all the time. And they tend to favor the home team. Offenses know they cant rely on getting a call. But many of the obvious ones are called. Is what it is.
Nah, missed call and it wasn't even mentioned on the psu board. Oh wait, this one favored them and doesn't equate to missed call.
OSU should never complain about a PI call.. They won a NC because of one... lol
