Tebow and Manziel. I am not a big Tebow fan because he just isn't

a good enough passer to play in the NFL. Great college qb. The reason I bring up Tebow is Manziel is sort of a playground passing version of Tebow. Junkyard qb. Maybe a Flutie comparison?

The reason for the post is why don't the Brown just play some football version of LMU/Westhead. Just let Manziel scramble and run around and throw bombs or just take off. The guy isn't a game manager. Why don't teams just have 4 wides and just have them fly down the field in all sorts of directions and Manziel wings the ball all over the place. Can lb's really keep up with him?

It basically becomes a challenge for the defense to have 4 corners to cover wr's and safeties who have to choose whom to cover.

Obviously Manziel isn't going to be running every down or scrambling and when you throw the ball deep then the number of plays will be limited. Throw 40 yards passes become de facto punts. Just look at this last game. He throws 8 int's a game and throws 4 td passes. Is that a bad thing if you have a good defense and you hold the other team to 3 pts?

Manziel is not going to be Tom Brady. Play to the strengths of the qb.
