There were a lot of them. And had Uche not ended the game with a sack & they had a Kordell Stewart moment, this would’ve been a much bigger deal.

Act as if we’re going for it to draw them offsides & end the game. They jump but don’t make contact. Thus they get back.
Ruiz could’ve snapped it to likely get the 5 yard call. But he was probably instructed not to under any circumstances which is fine (would you feel confident the side judge properly calls it?).
But the OL opposite that defender needs to react from his movement. Think it was RG so assume Onwenu. If the Defense jumps into the neutral zone & OL gets out of his stance as a result, offsides on Defense & Game Over. Even if they somehow called it on Onwenu, we got what we wanted as we were going to punt anyway. Have to move & force that call.
Luckily no Kordell Comet moment in the cards yesterday. So no harm, no foul.
OL has plenty to work on already. Adding 1 more teachable moment to their plate.....
