are required to win games. I think we need a massive upgrade in talent though. Early in the year I thought our weakness was going to be our offensive line, WRs, and QB. However, where our biggest gap going into 2016 by far is our D-line, LBs (who might be the worst in the country) and RBs. I think we will be fine in all other positions but we really need to beef up our talent. Even when our D-line or LBs tackle a player we get dragged for 2-3 yards.

Still though - if Hoke was our coach I am pretty sure we would have likely lost to Penn State, Minnesota, and Indiana. So overall, really glad JH is here. Still proud of these Wolverines. They need to learn to dominate and win, which is something they do not know. I think in a couple years this team will really be stacked and one that nobody will want to play.

Great...injury insult. Waive the white flag.

In regards to your comments. I agree the linebackers need to be upgraded. The DL will be okay with Mone coming back. Glasgow was a tough loss. Not to say talent isn't needed.

I think the primary short term focus needs to be on more speed/quickness at the rb position and a big time qb. I think these things are being addressed. The wr's are being upgraded. It's coming but the key is how long will it take. I believe 1 more year (2017) is where UM will be truly ready to compete for a spot in the BCS playoff.

It's not like the RR to Hoke transition. A decent foundation is in place but there is clearly one glaring problem...the lack of proven skill position talent and speed.
