I knocked and knocked on the basement door this morning and had to let myself in as the basement was empty. I turned the lights on, poked my head in and said, “Where did all the Spartans go?” Mike Dan10io has to be saying that quote again this morning as he finds himself totally alone. The basement has abandoned him, his fan base has abandoned him and now Comp has now joined in the chorus. Even his fanboys in the media acknowledge that the run is done. The era is over. The rise of Spartahh did not start with Dan10io’s hire. Our sailor guy & Pizza salesman(ironically
) should also be on the Mount Rushmore of this era of Spartahh football. It took both of them (and OSU & PSU doing sh1t so bad that even the NCAA had to do something), to cripple competition to a point where a mediocre coach like Dan10io could succeed. His program has finally become like their idols, The 300 (remember, they all died at Battle of Thermopylae).

The end of the era is here. For me, I hope he stays. Hoke, Rich Rod, PSU/OSU NCAA sanctions, and the Ingham county prosecutor have left and now has to eat his own cooking. The future is here and it is bleak.

- This year’s team is Dan10io’s last B1G contender for a while. If your B1G championship contender is legitimately sweating wins over Rutgers and Maryland to get to the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit in December, your future sucks.
- Dan10io’s “diamonds in the rough” recruiting approach in Michigan, Ohio and the Midwest has been adopted by Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, and other programs that don’t have MSU’s baggage. They need to find 5 kids before December because they lost 6 to the transfer portal in October alone. Where do they come from? (hint, not from the Rivals 1000 )
- A perfect example, MSU’s QB for 2020 is Noah Kim. Why him? Because the other 7 kids they offered turned them down. By my math, that makes Kim a plan “H” kid (Va Tech was his only other real offer and they processed him). Their latest signee is a receiver who started playing football this year. - Next year their roster is Rich Rod year 1 bad, probably worse. Stephen Threet would start for them next year, not even close. They have 1 RB, Cody White is their “best” WR. Freshman OL played today in front of 3 years of recruits. They lose 5 of their front 7 on defense. 2 of their back 4. Did we see any team speed on MSU yesterday? Those were their good players.
- MSU has no budget for assistants. And what assistant is going to come to a lame duck head coach?
- If Sparty can’t win out, Dan10io can begin his depo-prep in 2 weeks. Come January he will be subjected to 7 hours of unrestricted questions under oath about campus rape by his players. He won’t be able to scowl and say “that’s a dumbass question” or “next question”. Imagine his pissed off face plastered all over social media saying something Dan10io stupid. I know I can
- There is a STRONG vibe is that he will be retiring after he gets his 4.5M bonus in January. Only MSU can deliver timing this perfect. A multi-million-dollar payout while being deposed for campus rape. The optics are MSU Board of Trustees standards worthy.
