A few miscellaneous stats about Corum and Haskins:
1. Corum has 957 all-purpose yards through 6 games. If he matches that in the second half of the season he'll have about 1,900 yards - good for 4th all-time behind only 1) Chris Perry in 2003 (2,041), 2) A-Train in 2000 (2,004), and 3) Jamie Morris in 1987 (1,972).
2. Corum has 610 rushing yards so far. Haskins has 492. There's a good chance both could eclipse 1,000 for the season, a rare feat for Michigan in the last 40-50 years. It happened in 1975 when Rob Lytle and Gordon Bell both cleared 1,000 . . . then not again until 2011 when Denard and Toussaint both cleared 1,000. I don't believe it has happened since.
3. Haskins has 8 rushing TDs on the season. To make the top 10 list he needs 14, which would put him in a tie for 7th with 7 players: Harmon, Lytle, Morris, Perry, Hart x2, and Denard. If he matches that output for the 2nd half of the season and ends up with 16 he'll tie Denard's 2011 season for 5th with 16. Ron Johnson is the leader with 19 in 1968.
Finally, I wonder if Haskins will come back next season. He only played 3 games his freshman year, so he can come back if he wants to for a RS SR season. If he finishes with over 1,000 yards and 12-14 TDs, you have to wonder if he'll go pro even if he's unlikely to be drafted highly (or at all - I have no idea what his pro prospects are). We always hear how running backs have a limited amount of carries in their football career.
