For all of those who saw their defense look human early in the season , it has gotten somewhat better and the offense is the best in the nation. After 12 more hours of CFB watching yesterday , I would say OSU beats up Bama right now. Both defenses are a bout equal , but the OSU passing game along with an amazing back they use when the secondary has been run off deep , is playing great right now. Sorry , but they could have scored 80 on Indiana .The crazy thing is they could have scored 80 any way they wanted to..
I like Georgia's defense( who wouldn't) but OSU can spread them out . Besides... Georgia has the most mediocre offense of the top few teams. All three of these teams and maybe Oklahoma are well above the rest of CFB.
Georgia, Bama and OSU are all about the same as far as overall talent( amazing)...But, OSU is better at the skill positions and spreads the field much better than the others. Georgia's defense will get spread out and it's offense won't have enough bullets. The one thing that may get it done for Georgia is that they have amazing skill and speed in the secondary and on special teams. I am not sure about their ranking in those areas but they can make a defensive or special teams play at any time.
For what it is worth , I have us beating Sparty by a couple, beating PSU with qb troubles and losing to OSU by 21..We get behind and the track meet starts while we are busy throwing 8 yards to the TE...Hope I am wrong on almost everything and have been before..BTW..JJ apparently isn't ready but he may be that missing ingredient on offense next year that makes us legit. Maybe this discussion is the same only we are part of it.
Any thoughts... hope most are about the NC , not me, and my acknowledgement of how well OSU is playing..
