@EJ Holland, you graciously crowned Donovan Edwards as “the crown jewel” of the class. I recognize that football is a team sport and, personally, would not choose to go down that road...BUT as you were crowning Donovan (hey, and who in his right football mind and a Michigan fan isn’t excited about one Donovan Edwards !!), I feel it is incumbent of me as a strong Michigan fan (and alum) to react and respectfully split hairs here. Donovan was rated a 5.9 /4-star recruit; about the #3 rated RB in the country (depending on who is handing out the numbers);
JJ McCarthy on the other hand, was rated a 6.0/4-star recruit; about the #4 rated QB in the country (and of course, depending on who is handing out the numbers).
At least...at LEAST, E.J., would you care to re-think that crown and maybe Co-award the Class crown jewel to these TWO guys?
It appears to me that the late or last to sign seem to take the lion’s share of attention. JJ was on-board real early, with Donovan pulling attention at the finish line. Again, would not have brought this up, until the 👑 crowning party had been initiated without previous Fort approval !
