I've been unloading a ton of content from my time in Dallas over the weekend. Something I haven't mentioned is my conversation with the father of Rivals100 cornerback Ceyair Wright, who committed to USC this month. I asked him why Michigan wasn't the pick, and he told me with Wright's acting career and stability close to home, it made a lot of sense. But he also added that Michigan had been eliminated for weeks — remember, I basically stopped reporting on Wright at the end. With the Harbaugh situation ongoing, the Wright family just didn't feel like Michigan was a stable option. He also added that Michigan gave him conflicting information surrounding the status of Michael Zordich. Obviously, Balas runs point on the coaches, but from everything I gathered this weekend, it's obviously not looking likely that he'll return.
