While Bateman is an absolute stud, last year a good part of his success involved having Johnson in on the other side. With two stud WRs it’s hard to scheme one guy and they don’t have that this year. Also according to a Minnesota reporter their third WR has also retired from football and is being replaced by a kid who’s only snaps were at wildcat QB. Basically shut Bateman down and they have nothing. Add in the fact they’ll be missing their two best OL in recent rumors, which is their entire right side of the OL, and I see them struggling to protect Morgan or run effectively. If they can’t establish the run and get behind Michigan will be able to pin their ears back and harass Morgan. I’m feeling more confident today about the game. I know we replace a lot but so does Minnesota.
