in his prediction I believe - while everyone wants to blame the defense, at the end of the day you are not going to win games scoring 24 and 21 points respectively. It's just not going to happen. You have to be able to score over 30 consistently and have an offense that is fast. We clearly have a very good end of game 5-minute offense (that part is clear) with zero ability to play fast. Rutgers had 38 against MSU, Iowa 49 - we had 24 with 17 coming in desperation time. You can blame the D all you want but at the end of the day if you can't put up 30+ points consistently you are not built for this era of college football. While everyone wants DB out, I think Gatis should be under the same level of scrutiny as well.
