-There are rumblings that Alabama is a bit frustrated with the play of Hurst even with all of their success. He has not necessarily taken that next step to be a dynamic passing threat yet. Similar situation to OSU and UM. In summary if you are not constantly improving coaches and fans will be looking for someone that is.

-Crawford had a rough first week but I am liking what I saw from him Saturday. He is going to be good if he can continue to build on that.

-OSU's solution is to focus on running that power read option to perfection. Maybe mix in some more creative play calling into their running and short passing attack. Don't force a round peg into a square hole with Barrett.

-I would be very happy this week if we can be efficient on offense and come away from the game with no significant injuries. Take care of your knees this week boys.

-Lane Kiffen did a morning interview talking about his new team. Man that guy sounds defeated. He has an ever growing resume of failures. He is running out of chances.

-Northwestern what the heck! They may have the best qb/rb combination they have ever had and they got smoked by Duke. I thought they would contend with Wisconsin for the west. I expect more from a Fitzgerald team.

-Sparty needs a lose asap. It feels like they are building confidence. Let's go ND!
