Just finishing the game:
- HD is a man. If you watched him tonight, he was every bit as strong as Garza. He really battled and for a freshman, his defensive technique is just outstanding.
- It’s funny, I am sitting here finishing the game, thinking, big lead and I feel like we missed a lot of shots 2nd half, then they flash we were 60% in the 2nd half. We got great looks offensively in the 2nd half. It could have been worse than it was.
- Our D is crazy good. We took everything away from Iowa, they couldnt do any of the stuff they like. Most impressed with the fact that we not only took the 3 point line away, but we also took the cuts away. Very hard to do when you are overplaying the 3 point shots.
- We got good minutes from just about everyone. We are so balanced, our ability to switch on D is incredible. Every guy guards.
- Love what we did with having guys help HD on D when Garza got down the floor quick. Not sure if that was the plan, but multiple times Brown and Wagner picked up Garza instead of HD having to get there, so Garza got nothing easy.
Going to leave it at that as I am sure the others provided some good stuff.
