... that Lewerke was injured. The msu media has run with it, and of course the fans are pushing it as an excuse for the loss and Lewerke's poor play. Even dantonio wants you to know that Lewerke was hurt. After a sparty fanboy media member threw him a softball in the post game press conference, asking him a suggestive question about his QB being injured, dantonio responded that Lewerke didn't practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

Small problem... apparently msu's OC, Dave Warner, didn't get the memo to push narrative about Lewerke being injured. From his post game press conference...

media: was he injured?
Warner: No.
media: his shoulder was 100% ?
Warner: seemed to me. He practiced all week long with it.

So which is it? Did he practice or not? I can understand why, after a piss poor performance, they would create an injury narrative. What I can't understand is why the OC would say that he wasn't injured, if in fact he truly was.

Hmmm.
