First off what is a gold card? Sounds kind of expensive or is he just talking about yellow post it notes or yellow index cards?
Why does he have to do it weekly? I mean family, job, God, etc. seem like they should be on the list every week. Has he ever had one week where he said you know what, I'm going to let these 5 things slide this week and my new list is 1) eat 20 of the hottest wings at the local wing place 2) get 10 hours of sleep each day 3) win cornhole tourney at buddies river lot so I can have bragging rights 4) smile once a day 5) research new catch phrases and cliches to use in an angry voice when talking about Michigan
