It isn't going to stop cheating or players getting paid, but it will stop the spigot of money (to the extent there is one) flowing from shoe companies to high school recruits/AAU coaches to steer kids to a particular school. These companies are too large and the profile of this is too high for the compliance people and auditors (whoever they end up being...some people are going to be losing their jobs even if not going to jail) of these organizations not to be all over this going forward.
