would be a dogfight. Game not nearly as close as flow of game suggests/game control but UM could not put them away due to shoddy play calling in half two if you ask me and a very flat defensive effort. But regardless of reason I truly thought this could be a close one.

...you are correct, I saw that but i figured it did't need to be corrected. We played well the first half but "dialed" it in the 2nd. Very pleased with the win though wasn't satisfied with how the game progressed. Wasn't sure that we got "better" as Jim likes to say. (You either get worse or you get better...) We exercised some past demons today and with the win that's all that matters. Get ready for the Terps.
That, and because the officials didn't let anyone play pass defense in the 4th quarter.
We were up by 20 pts until about midway into the 4th quarter. Garbage TDs hardly indicate and "dog fight". MSU hits hard and comes with lots of dirty play, that's usually the dog fighting in this game. Otherwise UM controlled the game and the outcome. At halftime there was little doubt we'd win, just because a couple of style TDs were scored doesn't mean it was down to the wire. I wouldn't break your arm patting yourself on this one.
