...I'm gutting it out in Italy for a few weeks, so I'm not having my usual UM fix. I know it's hard to feel sorry for me...
Anyway, I got to see the first game streaming, but I couldn't get to a computer/wifi because of work yesterday. Takeaways included:
We were up for UF...notsomuch for Cincy (although I would think it wouldn't be hard to get up for rubbing Adam Sandler's face in the dirt...)
Wilton is...well, Wilton. WILDLY inconsistent with an edge to the negative...
OL is still a work in progress - inconsistency by Speight and the OL will put a lot of pressure on the D...
Defense has a chance to be special, but see above...they can't be expected to make plays when we can't move the ball or just hand it over to the other teams, especially if they're good...
Bush and Issac seem to be the best players on the field on D and O so far...
Big positives yesterday include OSU getting butt-whipped at home and ND also going down. Anyone watch the Urban Meyer presser? Wondering if he threw the team under the bus like he usually does after a loss...bet he didn't take a phone call...
