Somehow, it looks like we are right where we should be expecting. We lost to the most talented team in the country, with the second or third best coach in the country. With the second best QB in the country.

Simply put...we lost to a better team.

No we did not play well: too many penalties, too many drops, no pressure on the QB, turnovers, a special team disaster.

But you put that one in your gut (AGAIN) and you go back to work. We’ve climbed over MSU and PSU and are trending more positively than Wisconsin. The ships not sinking, it just took some water.

The game hasn’t passed Harbaugh. He knows better than anyone what the weaknesses on this team are. Based on the recruitment of speed and athleticism of Hill, Jackson, Johnson and Johnson, Sainristil and others, he knows we needed more explosiveness. I’m sure other changes will shake out including a full time offensive coordinator.

So suck it up Buttercups....Harbaugh is gonna be here for a long time. And we WILL win championships. But it’s okay to hope Urban retires and Haskins declares for the draft.
