I'd rather discuss who are the next few guys. Let's leave off Unitas who may very well be the best.

We can eliminate Bradshaw, Tarkenton, Staubach. I think we can also eliminate Favre and Marino and Brees. All great players. So how do you rank these guys...after #2. If you feel I am wrong then make a case

Elway
Rodgers
Manning


I would pick Manning but I think his postseason performances were less impressive than Elway. Elway basically took teams who had no business being in the SB and got them there. Rodgers is the most physically gifted of all the qb's I have seen and he could in theory leapfrog to the top because he is that talented.

I would have Elway and Manning at a tie for #3.
