is different...and today's game proved that again. I know UM was "supposed" to win 60-0...but SMU has some very good players...they sold out to stop the run...played very hard....and I give them credit.
Their offense was GREATLY assisted by penalties...and that is both UM's fault and some strange calls. Their third TD drive was the result of 60 yards in UM penalties...very odd occurrence.
So, I give SMU credit...they improved significantly from a bad TCU loss...and came to Ann Arbor and played a tough game...hats off to them.
Many here on the Fort tend to forget the OTHER team can try hard, make plays, and compete too.
So, good for SMU...and UM will have a lot to work on...but still won 45-20...despite an interception on our own 2 yd line...
