My daughter saw "No Strings Attached" and has taken to referring to Michigan as a "party school." I'm trying not to let her see how this pisses me off because it'll only egg her on, but it's really bugging me. I have one child left who might go to Michigan and this isn't helping.
I really think it's fair to lay this at Kutcher's feet because: a) he's from Iowa and roots for the Hawkeyes; b) the movie very well may not have been made but for his participation; c) he's a horrible actor and doesn't deserve to be on the same screen as Natalie Portman; and d) well, unless it's someone with a connection to Michigan or Minnesota (like Tom Selleck or Josh Hartnett) I'm always going to find fault with anyone that good looking and rich on general principle alone.
Plus he's responsible for perhaps the most poorly delivered line in the history of cinema:
Damn you, Kutcher, damn you.
