A male nurse is tending an IV and she turns to him and says in a weak trembly voice.. "you know.. my oldest son is a huge Michigan fan."
A feeling of dread washed over me...
Nurse: "oh that's ok ma'am.. they suck again."
Me: (silence)
Mom: "looks like he's going to ignore us."
Nurse: (looking at me) "well... it's true?"
Me: (miffed.. mumbling): "yea no offense.." (looks back at phone while considering if the 10th floor window will break if I jump at it hard enough)
He then went on with the whole righteous speech about how he roots for us to be good because he enjoys when The Game is competitive... bla bla bla
An incredibly shitty 48 hours just got shittier.
