Finally the kid is off to Alabama and good luck to him. Alabama is the best program in college football right now no matter what happens tomorrow night because they have been dominant under Saban. Good for Harris. Its sickening that adults have followed phone calls, flight plans, twitter, watching what clothes he and his relatives or friends have on. He is an 18 year old kid who is just starting his football career. Yes it would be nice to have gotten him Ann Arbor but he is not now so it is time to MOVE ON. Michigan still has a great class coming in (Harbaugh's second one ONLY). Since we are talking about RB's- Michigan's Chris Evans is an excellent running back and did not play enough this year. The run he ripped off against Florida State was incredible. Next year, he should start and Higdon (who is also good) should be his backup. Playing Smith as much as he was played killed Michigan's running game and I do not want to hear about what a great pass blocker he was because I saw him miss a shit load of blocks. Smith was a big slow back period and that is what Hoke liked when he recruited him. He was a NON FACTOR in the offense because he could not hit the hole or bounce it effectively. Last year in the bowl game against Florida, it was Drake that did the running damage not Smith. Smith had a couple nice runs but Drake was the slasher we needed this year.
