I searched but couldnt find any posts about this website, sorry if I missed it but this is a really an "interesting" website. You put money into an account for a player, if that player say Will Johnson who is #9 on the list the player gets the money after their eligibility is used. Someone is making money on interest on this $115,206 dollars have been raised. As of right now if Will Johnson goes to Michigan and completes his eligibility he would get $4,190 . The #1 player on the MVNM.com website is a QB from Southlake Texas who would get $24,778 if he goes to the buckeyes. The founder is guy named Pablo Arellano Jr. (from Ohio) says "MVNM is not here to point fingers, nor to run amuck of disruption. It’s merely here as a solution in creating financial opportunities for those athletes that we aspire to recruit. Imagine a world where people prosper from their work. It’s time we provide our athletes with the same opportunity. " Lol no issues or problems could arise from this website, financial opportunities lol
Does this comply with NCAA rules?
The simple answer is Yes! MVNM is a public domain entity that encourages athletes – publicly – to choose one path over other alternative paths. Since the offer and acceptance of funds by the student athlete does not occur until after their amateur status is completed, NCAA rules and regulations are not violated. The student athlete must contact MVNM at the conclusion of their amateur status to claim any funds contributed towards their original recruitment.
