I don’t analyze every play to see what everybody’s doing on offense and figure out what is going wrong, whether it be bad line play, quarterback play, receivers not getting open or running back’s missing the hole, but what I did see is that we seemed to be running the ball decently with Higdon. Why not just keep doing this and punt the ball if needed and let the defense and special teams win the field position battle like they did to Score the first touchdown. It seemed as though Michigan State, with Scott not playing, was playing to not make a mistake and let Michigan do that for them. The rain obviously made it hard to throw the ball, so it seems this would’ve been the most effective method.
