I know there was a long thread on game day, but it was already too long to read by the time I saw it.

I was just rewatching that part of the game because a friend wanted me to see if she was on TV on that play (she wasn’t). Watching it in slo-mo, though...

Peters does a fantastic job of calling the play, getting Perry in motion and reading the defense pre-snap. There were 3 to cover 3 on that side with a S splitting the field. All 3 wide go inside and Evans is open as soon as Peters sees the DE covering. He read it quick, threw it quick and gave Evans a chance to make a play. Wonderful execution by the new QB that I didn’t see JOK do at all in the 4 or 5 games over two seasons. ADDITIONALLY...McKeon runs a drag and is wide open when his defender gets rubbed and might have scored if Evans was picked up by the S.
