If he were a 3 star and not a 5 star, would we feel similarly about his skill set? (I am so used to seeing horrible QB play and Shea is so much better than that, but is he really good?) . I see a 3rd year player who still has consistency issues. For every Nico/Gentry throw in the end zone, you get a DPJ crossing route thrown at his feet (could have gone to the house if it was thrown properly). Same with other passes. They are almost universally low/short. (editors note: we do not appear to give him very easy passes. No drag routes, slants, others. Few passes while in the red zone. No idea why)
I do not see Shea having NFL arm talent. But then again I thought Indy were boneheads by passing on Leaf for Manning.
I really like McCaffrey's game. A lot. Granted this is on a limited body of work.
Peters. He comes in, throws a fantastic TD pass and gets benched. No idea why other than the staff has no interest in investing further in him?
Milton - arm cannon. I don't see him passing McCaffrey next year. (assuming Shea goes pro).
A 3rd year McCaffrey has a lot to offer the program, if Shea leaves.
