I've been four times. 95, 97, 99, 01. UM was 1-3 in those games and the 3 losses were absolutely brutal. I could go every year if I chose to as I have a good friend who has MSU season tickets and always asks. I chose to never go again after 2001. A group of us headed down in an RV (both State and UM fans) and we had two different incidents in the parking lot pre-game. A kid drove by on his bike and slapped one of my buddies across the back of the head. Unfortunately, for that kid, a few of the guys we were with are cops and they chased him down and served him justice. We also had a guy kick the RV as he walked by. These were both pre-game so you can imagine what it was like after State won that day on an absolute bullshit Spartan Bob clock miracle.
Anyway, I'll never go back to East Lansing. I find the vast majority of their fan base to be absolute morons.
