*** Despite hosting official visitors this weekend, Jim Harbaugh and company found a way to make it to Seattle for an 8 a.m. camp start. Harbaugh, offensive coordinator Josh Gattis and offensive line coach Sherrone Moore were the coaches representing Michigan. Harbaugh was his usual energetic self. No, he didn't take his shirt off despite the ongoing heat wave, but he did introduce himself with a microphone and yelled at the campers to get excited. Harbaugh also spent a lot of individual time with some key Michigan recruits, which we'll get to in a second.

*** But first, let's talk about FSP. If you don't know what FSP is, it's the biggest club 7v7 in the Pacific Northwest with an extension for linemen training. Top trainer Tracy Ford runs the program and has a top notch facility sponsored by NFL player Myles Jack. Under Matty Dudek, Michigan was hesitant to connect with 7v7 coaches and trainers. Under Courtney Morgan, it's been a complete shift in philosophy. Morgan is well connected with FSP, and Harbaugh, Gattis and Moore all spent time hanging out with FSP's coaches at today's camp. That's huge considering FSP is home to top 2022 Michigan targets Mark Nabou and Tobias Merriweather. In fact, one of FSP's staffers flew with Nabou to Ann Arbor earlier this week. That would have never happened under Dudek.

*** On to Josh Conerly. The Rivals100 offensive tackle actually camped today and looked really good. Conerly has an excellent build at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds and looks every part of an elite offensive lineman. Conerly is a strong kid and moves extremely well for his size. I would definitely call Conerly a dancing bear that can play either right or left tackle at the next level. Conerly was the clear Alpha Dog of the offensive line group. There are some minor technical things he needs to clean up but other than that, Conerly projects as a multi-year starter and eventual early round NFL Draft pick.

*** So it's no surprise that Conerly is the top remaining target along the offensive line. Michigan has two commits under its belt in Connor Jones and Alessandro Lorenzetti, but both are more upside takes. Conerly is a safe bet that can anchor an offensive line for years. Moore spent a lot of time watching Conerly and giving him tips. Gattis and Harbaugh also paid close attention to Conerly throughout the camp, watching the majority of his reps. All three connected with Conerly's high school coach and made it clear that he's a top remaining priority this cycle.

*** Moore also got a lot of face time with Conerly's father, Josh Sr. The two seemed to really click throughout the event. I caught up with Josh Sr., who told me that Moore has done an excellent job of recruiting their family and that their trip to Seattle for the satellite camp left a lasting impression. Harbaugh also spent some time with Conerly's dad and told he can't wait until they make their way to campus. Conerly told me that Michigan is definitely under consideration for an official visit. He doesn't think he'll be able to make it to the Big House BBQ in July, but he is looking to make an OV for the game against Washington like I reported a few days ago.

*** Harbaugh and company also got some face time with ex-Washington offensive line commit Mark Nabou for the second time this week. Nabou told me that his visit to Michigan went well and that he is very much looking to get back to campus at some point in the near future. In fact, Nabou told me that he would love to schedule an official visit with Michigan for the game against Washington. Nabou just hit the open market, so he is taking his time and weighing his options. But Michigan is very much in the mix. In fact, I would say the Wolverines are easily in his top three right now with Texas A&M and USC.

*** Some pundits have projected Nabou as a defensive lineman. However, I really like him as a guard. Nabou is still raw from a technical standpoint and can shape up his body, but he's a big strong kid that dominate in the interior of the offensive line. Nabou is exactly the type of kid that would flourish in the Big Ten conference. From talking to those around Nabou, they also feel like he best projects as an offensive lineman at the next level. Nabou did really well in 1v1's from the right tackle spot. The reps he won were in dominant fashion. The only reps he lost were those where he overstepped and lunged. That's easily correctable.

*** Michigan recently extended an offer to rising 2024 offensive lineman Papa Ahfua, and man, he is one of the most impressive 14-year-olds I've seen while covering recruiting. This kid is going to be an absolute stud by the time he is a senior. Ahfua has a terrific build, advanced technique and looked out of place while working with the younger group at today's camp. It's still very early for Ahfua, but he was happy with the Michigan offer and would like to visit for the game against Washington.

*** The Seattle satellite camp resulted in an offer for four-star 2023 cornerback Caleb Presley. I've seen Presley on the 7v7 circuit in the past and really love his game. He plays fast, smart and always makes plays on the ball. He has good size at 6-foot, 175 with an athletic build. Presley doesn't shy away from getting physical and plays with swagger. This was an easy offer for the staff. He was the best non-offered prospect at the camp. As far as his recruitment, Presley is pretty open to options across the country. He would like to make a visit to Michigan for the game against Washington.

*** Very quickly, Rivals250 wide receiver Tobias Merriweather did not make it to the camp as he was flying back from his official visit to Stanford. However, the staff had something special planned for Merriweather and his father as soon as they landed. I'll have more on that soon. Michigan is very much in the mix there. With Michigan trending in the right direction with Colston Loveland, I think Seattle tight end Jack Velling has moved down the board. Tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh was supposed to be at the camp but did not come. Velling was a no show as well.
