against Rutgers. If UM wanted to, they would have scored over 100 points last week. Anyone who thinks otherwise wasn't watching. They did the exact opposite of running up the score.
a) They threw 3 passes in the entire second half.
b) UM ran 2-3 pitch outs and one draw play to Higdon (yes for a TD). Every other play was a simple handoff between the tackles besides 3-4 passes.
c) Speight did not touch the ball in the second half.
d) Almost every first string player did not step on the field in the second half. A few here and there played some downs. Mone and two or three other starters (Mone isn't really starting anymore) saw second half action. Nobody else did.
e) Not one of their potential 8-12 all big ten players stepped on the field in the second half.
You know who did run up the score? OSU.
OSU threw 39 passes in a 77-10 win over BGSU.
OSU threw 34 passes in a 58-0 win vs. Rutgers.
UM threw 16 passes vs. Rutgers. UM ran the ball 56 times. But we ran up the score? Funny.
