Seemed as though the bucks had a play designed to specifically create a certain matchup they wanted whenever they wanted/needed it I.E. picking on our 3rd corner, crossing routes, wheel routes against our lb's, etc...
That's what a gameplan/scouting/schematically putting your kids in position to succeed looks like.

On the other hand, we've got a huge 3rd and 10 (if I remember right) in the 3rd quarter and we throw basically a go route to.......Mccurry? Now we got bailed out by the pass interference call but I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. And I don't mean to disrespect that kid but you've got 3 future NFL receivers on your roster and that's what Peps playsheet has on it for 3rd and long in the second half of THE GAME??? Has he been targeted at WR more than about 3 times ALL YEAR?
That's what a LACK of gameplanning/scouting/playing to your teams strength looks like.

Outcoached big time yesterday and that play specifically put a large dent in my confidence of our offensive staff.

And a quick thought on the disparity in recruiting topic that's been discussed a lot. I've been of the belief that while there's a gap, I feel it's close enough to expect to fair around .500 against OSU provided our coaching and player development is what I expected under Jimmy. And I still feel that way.
However, I can't help but to think about a kid like Jalen Perry who Georgia processed because they weren't convinced he had the speed to play in the SEC that we take happily. Now that kid could end up being an all big10 db for us, and who knows if that's the real reason, so I'm not necessarily talking on the micro level but after what we saw yesterday, we certainly don't possess enough speed/playmakers it takes to compete against the top 5-7 programs in the country.
