I am torn when it comes to scheduling Notre Dame the first game of the season. I love it from the aspect of the build-up in the offseason and the attention it brings to the program but scheduling a cupcake and being undefeated right now sure sounds pretty awesome.
I just want to give our program the best chance to make the college football playoff. The Experience playing Notre Dame is great but a loss to Notre Dame versus a win over a cupcake definitely hurts this team.
