But, I’m sorry, I just don’t believe our coaches are this incompetent. I think they realize that we have a severely limited quarterback. I posted last week do you want to be safe and win 7/8 and call this a program year to show stability? Ok. But if you want to beat a high level team, JJ is your hope.
We are playing not to lose on offense, and our line is playing at such a high level that we still just ran through what most thought would be the best front 7 not named Oregon in the PAC 12.
If we had ANY real threat at QB, this could be a hell of an offense. The playmakers are there, the line is gelling to a point I am stunned (in a good way) by, but we can all see the weak link.
Cade seems like a good kid, good leader. He is not talented enough to be a high level big ten quarterback. I do not think he will “lose” us games, and he will almost assuredly turn it over less than JJ (I mean, they don’t let him do anything lol) but we are severely hamstrung here.
Amazing effort by the defense. DL has been an awesome surprise.
