Sitting with his parents. We told him good job and good season. He looked very upset and sad about the loss. I believe the rest of the team was gone by then so maybe he's going home for a couple days. Nonetheless, I feel for the guys and coaches, it's been a tough year. They've faced a lot of adversity with injuries and everything.
I'm very proud of Zak and his progressions he has made this year, it's incredible. He started the year as a guy who was highly criticized for his attitude, basketball smarts, and his lack of development. At the end of the year I can truly say he made major improvements to his overall game and his attitude and has turned into a complete player and a team leader. We are lucky to have this kid, as well as the rest of them. It's been a great group of guys to watch and support. Hopefully it continues in the NIT.
