  1. Michigan's defensive line did not seem to get a lot of pressure today - either IL's O-line was really good or we were just rusty compared to other games.
  2. Chesson seems to be off this season...I would love to see him get back to his form from last season and we would be really dangerous.
  3. Our O-line has steadily improved each and every game this year, that is very encouraging.
  4. Glad to see that we were able to kick 2 FGs - though the first one was pretty darn sloppy and a line drive that great teams will block.
As far as other games and thoughts:
  1. Wisconsin is just a very very sound team - the likely rematch against either OSU or Michigan will be tough for either teams. Wisconsin reminds me of the team nobody really wants to play as they don't beat themselves. Very impressed.
  2. I remember a couple MSU fans last year arguing about how Dantonio belongs in the conversation as one of the top coaches of all time in the BIG. Dantonio is a fine coach and regardless of the outcome from next week's game, a "great" coach does not lose 5 straight games. Almost seems like the past 2-3 years for them was a perfect storm of under-rated talent that developed really well together and were high potential.
On paper we should crush MSU. I fully expect to see MSU run fake punts, do random on-side kicks, and have all sort of trick plays as well as likely play very very dirty. They have absolutely nothing to lose and for them a win or a loss does nothing to their season really. I know folks think we will beat them by 50, etc but it will likely be tougher then some of the other games we have had. If we play sound and our offensive play calling continues to be as creative as it has been, it will be a long day for Sparty.

GO BLUE!!!

Defense had their way this game like most this year. I think Chesson has both been slow to return from injury and struggling with a new QB whose bff is Darboh. I have few complaints about the offensive line so far, they've indeed improved game to game. Our kicking game is an adventure, that's a bit nerve wracking.

Wisky is great and Sparty is going down, no matter what Mike pulls out of his britches to swing at us.

its not hard to be a tougher opponent than rutgers so ill give you that on msu but the score still wont be close

I thought the DL got a ton pf pressure against the Illini. Getting pressure does not always lead to a sack. George hurried almost 90% of his throws which resulted in them having to punt.

I also think Brown played it very close to the vest. Why give MSU, Iowa and OSU more film if you don't need to.
